Teaching Awards 2009

Following his successful compositions for the Africa Sky project, Infinite Vision have again called upon Michael for their recent production for the 2009 Teaching Awards.

Infinite Vision required a song to accompany a short film to be shown at the Teaching Awards ceremony. Michael composed a bespoke song to highlight the way in which teachers help their students “reach out for the stars”.

GB Special Olympics 2009

Michael and Carnival Messiah creator and director Geraldine Connor have teamed up once again to co-compose the music for the opening ceremony of the 2009 GB Special Olympics.

The 2009 Special Olympics will be held in Leicester, with the opening ceremony taking place at the Walkers’ Stadium on 27th July 2009. Well known carnival costume designer Clary Salandy of Mahogany Arts has been commissioned to create the performance centrepiece of the ceremony, and commissioned Michael and Geraldine to compose and record a 25 minute soundscape to tell the story of ‘Onederland’.
